A classic loop in South East Asia, before the Covid came.
About 5 monts, 6 countries and 5000km.
I was really looking forward to the Asian chapter. Revisiting this part of the world that attracts me so much, but on a bike.
The world is so different when you travel it by bike.
The people, the contacts, the possibilities.
I was looking forward to leaving Africa and finding a bit of abundance.
Cheap food everywhere, changing landscapes, languages and alphabets to rediscover.
Then Covid arrived and settled in. And we had to learn to ignore it, to avoid it. But that was without taking into account the international nature of things.
In Malaysia, we had to move fast, only to rush off to catch a plane in Singapore.
There too, we'll have to come back.
